Today we celebrated our youngest son’s 1st birthday. Alec had a good day. His older brothers, Troy and Eli enjoyed singing to him today. Melissa made a great cake, in the shape of the number one. It was good! Tonight we ate cake and ice cream with our good friends and fellow missionaries, Jonathan & Erin Mathews. Alec started crying when we sang “Happy Birthday”. What he wanted was the cake. When he got it he was very happy! Anyway, we’re blessed with all of our children. We pray for them to become mature followers and servants of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Please pray for us as we raise them with very unique opportunities on the mission field here in Brazil. (By the way, Alec is Brazilian by birth…we all call him our little Brazilian. And he loves beans and rice!)
