We celebrated Melissa’s 29th birthday on Friday night with BBQ chicken on the grill and a cake. Troy, Eli and I made the cake and frankly it was pretty good! Melissa and I got to enjoy the day out for lunch (thanks, Erin, for watching the kids!). We went to “Raro Restaurante” about 30 minutes from our house. It was the first time for us to go there and it was great. “Raro” means rare. It wasn’t really that “rare” but we had a nice time. Happy Birthday, Melissa. I love you!
Oh, yes, and by the way…those are stitches that you see in Alec’s forehead! He fell on the stairs on Monday afternoon and had to get 3 stitches. It was nearly the same thing that happened to Troy back in September. Jeanie, you told us that it was only the beginning…you were right! I’ve nicknamed Troy “Stitch 1″ and Alec “Stitch 2″. Troy asked today, “When will ‘Stitch 3′ come?” We said that we didn’t want to think about it.
